As our first consignment to a sale we are excited about this young ram and what he has to offer. He is a smaller framed ram that was the fastest growing out of my March group last spring. Strong topped, excellent shedder and is structurally correct with a tremendous hip and rib shape that he passes on. We bred a handful of ewe lambs last fall for our neighbors to him and produced a nice set of lambs with 75% of the ewe lambs being retained as replacements. After seeing these lambs we decided to expose 402 for fall lambs on 30+ ewes. He was shown as a lamb and stood Reserve Champion to our “White Christmas” Ram at the Hartford Independent Fair last August. Will have NSIP data by sale day.

445 is a nice made ewe lamb right out of the heart of our upgrading program. Her great granddam 150 is a commercial Katahdin ewe that we purchased from an Amish breeder when we started that has become one of the matriarchs of our flock today. 150 is going on 11 years old and still producing strong with many daughters and granddaughters still working in our flock. 445 has MOF, BAG, COR, HLB, EHJ, and SHU in her pedigree.
